The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) has ordered all Telecoms Operators in the country to give a 14-day grace for subscribers to exhaust their remaining data after the 30 days expiration period. Ms. Hellen Obi, who represented the Executive Vice Chairman NCC, Professor Umar Danbata, stated this yesterday, in Minna, the Niger State capital at the Consumers Conversation Forum. The event was organised by the NCC to sensitise consumers on the need to follow the right channel in resolving issues with their service providers. “NCC has mandated all network providers to give their subscribers 14 days of grace after the 30 days expiration of their data if they still have data left and cannot recharge to get their data rolled over,” she stated. Obi declared 2017 as NCC Telecom Consumer year as a result of the consumer’s importance to the growth and development of the telecom industry. Well, Wizkid made history last night, September 29th  by becoming the  first African artist to sell out the Royal Albert Hall in London. Tickets were even sold out two days before the concert. The show was broadcasted live via Wizkid’s Facebook page so his worldwide fans could also get a piece of the action. He joins the likes of the Beatles and many international superstars who have headlined at the Royal Albert Hall in London. Rapper Joe Budden has accused American artistes of copying Wizkid’s style and refusing to support him. This conversation started in popular talk show, Everyday Struggle, where the rapper sat down with Dj Akademiks and other artiste to analyse the Nigeria’s latest style (a fusion of Afrobeats and Carribean sounds) which became popular after Wizkid’s collaboration with Drake on one Dance. Joe Budden thinks many American artistes are copying the Wizkid’s sounds, and sadly, are not promoting him, are not buying his latest album Sounds From the Other Side. “Wizkid’s album came out. We’ve never talked about it, and it’s amazing. I don’t think that it is fair that all you N!ggas can steal Wizkid’s Carribean-F.ucking steal and flow and songwriting and not buy the F.ucking album.” The hosts argued about what’s Carribean sounds and what’s African in Wizkid’s style, and they somehow reached an agreement that Wizkid’s style is not really Caribbean. Beautiful Nigerian singer Tiwa Savage has just reacted to being named by the BBC as one of the most inspirational and innovative women for 2017. The mother of one made the BBC’s list of 100 inspirational and innovative women for 2017. This year’s theme will focus on tackling some of the biggest problems facing women around the world. See her post below; The women who made the list will be part of the 100 Women Challenge- split into four teams- sharing their experiences and creating innovative ways to tackle topical issues such as: The glass ceiling, Female illiteracy, Street harassment and s3xism in sport. Tiwa is one of eight African women recognized for their works including the Liberian president, Ellen Johnson Sirleaf. Other countries that made the global list include Kenya, Morocco, Senegal and Zimbabwe.

A member of the Peoples Democratic Party Board of Trustees has revealed that Ekiti state Governor Ayodele Fayose cannot run for President under the party. Dr Okwesilieze Nwodo, a Board of Trustee (BoT) member of People Democratic Party (PDP), says Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose, cannot contest in the party’s primary poll for 2019 presidential election. He stated this on Thursday in Abuja shortly after Fayose’s formal declaration of his intention to contest for the position of president of Nigeria in 2019 on PDP’s platform. Nwodo told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) that PDP’s ideology forbade Fayose and other members from the South from contesting in the presidential race in 2019. A Nigerian lady has take to her Facebook page to allege that the Mavins Record Boss, Don Jazzy, can not impregnate a lady. The University of Port Harcourt Student, identified as Queen DiNa Ikoma is claiming she’s had hot unprotected s-ex with Don Jazzy and is still unable to trap him down as a baby daddy. She wrote; “Don Jazzy is impotent After several hot unprotected sex with him I still can’t get pregnant. No wonder he refused to marry. He’s infertile.”

It has now been confirmed that P-Square is splitting. Peter and Paul Okoye are now set to pursue solo music careers. This is coming after several back and forth attempts to manage the internal crisis that ultimately ravaged the group. The update on the issue is that Peter Okoye has taken a legal approach to formalize the dissolution of the group. The singer recently sent a letter to renowned lawyer, Festus Keyamo (SAN) to dissolve the group and terminate any existing contract that binds the P-Square brand. In the letter, Peter wrote that the threats on his life and that of his immediate family, are the reasons he is seeking for a formal dissolution of the group. As it seems, it appears Peter would flag his solo career bearing the name, ‘Mr. P’, while Paul Okoye seems to have settled for ‘Rudeboy’.
