Former Vice President of Nigeria,  Atiku Abubakar  has joined the list of notable Nigerian Politicians congratulating Wizkid for beating the likes of Jay-Z, Drake, Cardi B, SZA, Kendrick Lamar etc to the Best International Act Award at yesterday’s 2017 MOBO Awards. Wizkid, became the first African act to win ‘Best international act’ at the Mobo awards and has since received several congratulatory messages to include that of former president , Goodluck Jonathan. Via his Facebook Page, the former president wrote; When Nigeria does well, I cannot help but feel well. My happiness is tied to the happiness of Nigeria and when Nigerians break records and take the name of Nigeria to greater heights it exhilarates me. Thank you Wizkid for raising Nigeria’s flag high for the positive, not the negative. Your emergence as the Best International Act at the #MOBOAwards is a proud moment for Nigeria. And the fact that you emerged over JAY-Z and Drake makes it even more celebratory. WELL DONE. GEJ.

Wizkid’s fans are seriously trolling Davido on social media following the latter’s Best African Act win at the MOBO Awards last night. According to Wizzy’s fans, the DMW boss refused to mention or post his award on Instagram because he knows Wizkid is his boss now following the latter’s Best International Act win at the same award show. Senator Ben Murray-Bruce, representing Bayelsa East in the National Assembly, has reacted to Wizkid’s big win at the 2017 MOBO Awards held in London, last night. According to Mr. Bruce, this is his proudest moment since joining the entertainment business. The  2017 MOBO Awards  went down last night and it was indeed a night of spectacular performances as Nigerian superstar Davido took the stage to entertain the audience with a performance of his hit songs. Chelsea manager, Antonio Conte, has said that it is not his place to convince Thibaut Courtois to sign a new contract at the club. Courtois is set to enter the final year of his current deal at Stamford Bridge. Real Madrid are keenly monitoring the Belgian goalkeeper’s situation at Chelsea, with reports suggesting he rejected an initial offer in May. A woman got more than she bargained for after she was caught with various bunches of keys in Edo state which she allegedly used to steal from people’s apartments. The woman who couldn’t categorically reveal how she got the keys – reportedly confessed to stealing from unsuspecting victims as she could virtually access any apartment with the keys before she was apprehended. The woman was caught while carrying out an operation before the keys were discovered in her possession. She was beaten by angry residents who stripped off her top and paraded her in public with her stealing materials.

Nigerian Fargin crooner,  Teni Entertainer  is being called out by some Nigerians who find it inappropriate for the singer to announce on social media that she wrote Davido’s Like Dat which came out Friday, 24th of November. The singer-songwriter who was recently signed to Dr. Dolor Entertainment revealed this yesterday, 23rd of November on Twitter and although some fans are congratulating her on this great achievement in her career, others are not as happy because they feel she should’ve allowed the Davido himself make the announcement rather than doing it.
